Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the formulation & development of R&D prototypes and their characterisation for new product development (NPD)
- Perform scientific literature search for article publication and Patent prior art search
- Conduct laboratory bench performance tests for medical devices, product stability studies as per the standard guideline and test protocols. Documenting 100% real time research experiments and test results.
- Coordinating with 3rd party research labs regarding outsourced studies and helping in draft report preparation.
- Assist in draft preparation for research and review article publications, patent drafting and proposal writing for research grant
- Lab inventory management for all chemicals, glass apparatus and equipment. Assist in vendor development for raw materials and outsourcing studies
- Calibration of lab instruments according to the SOPs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the design and development of medical devices
- Assist in Scientific content writing related to responses to the technical queries.
- Maintenance of Lab hygiene and assigned work area
Essential Skills & Background Knowledge
- Hands-on experience or academic exposure to laboratory techniques, including biomaterial testing, prototyping, and mechanical or biological experiments, antimicrobial studies.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of biomedical or pharmaceutical science and material chemistry
- Hands-on laboratory experience with pharmaceutical formulations with bio polymers
- Experience in scientific article publications
- Proficiency in literature search and real-time scientific documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with cross functional department
